Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my author webpage. My first fiction novel UNBROKEN BONDS will be coming out sometime in early 2021. Below is the cover copy andI would really love to get your opinion on which book cover you prefer. Asha Hossain did a fabulous job designing the cover art, so it has been really difficult to decide which one to go with.

Synopsis:

In 1956, seventeen-year-old Joanna Wilson’s abusive home life causes her to turn to Jack Wyatt for the love and stability she desperately needs. When she becomes pregnant her overbearing father demands she go to a Catholic home for unwed mothers.

At the Frances Weston Home in Knoxville, Tennessee, Joanna becomes friends with Prissy, Jessie and Mary. Under the guise of benevolence, the nuns perpetuate a culture of disgrace which reflects society’s attitudes of the time. The for-profit institution’s ultimate goal is placing the babies with wealthy adoptive parents.

With their vow of lifelong friendship the four young women rebuild their lives in the Deep South during the upheaval of the 1960’s, while finding their place within a society where the long-held roles of women and single mothers transform in the decades that follow. When tragedy strikes, they must decide whether to keep their secrets from the past buried or to find the truth about the children they were forced to give away.

UNBROKEN BONDS is a finalist in the When Words Count Pitch Week 19 Competition which culminates on September 26, 2020.

I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
