I had a wonderful time at the WFWA retreat in Alexandria Virginia, October 15-19. Angie Hodapp, from the Nelson Literary Agency was our speaker. We came away with so much good information we can put into practice. I loved spending time with my writing friends that I only get to see on Zoom meetings and social media. And making new friends. The connection between writers is priceless!
Beth Anne Hill and I were thrilled to speak about women’s historical fiction and our stories in Feisty Deeds at the beautiful South Huntsville Library.
September 19, 2024, Be looking for my second novel Intentionally due to release in April 2025

June 7th What a treat to celebrate Women’s Fiction Day, (one day early) with my fellow Alabama WFWA writers!
Announcing Feisty Deeds: Historical Fictions of Daring Women
Tales of ordinary women placed in extraordinary circumstances… brimming with personal triumphs! Twenty-three authors from the Historical affinity group of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association contributed short stories to this book. This anthology includes my story, “My Dear Mrs. Packard.” The collection is receiving 5 star reviews from prerelease readers! Order your copy on June 8th wherever you prefer to buy your books online! Revenues from the first annual volume of Feisty Deeds will be donated to the WFWA Scholarship Fund. This fund provides resources to develop craft and foster successful careers.
The authors of Feisty Deeds ran a contest to win a Book Bundle Basket chock full of books and fun prizes for the avid reader. Over 200 fans entered. The luck winner was Sally Childs from the UK.
